Free PSP
FREMONT, SEATTLE, WA :: Hey, guess what appeared on my doorstep today! A free Playstation Portable from Gratis!
Well, it wasn’t exactly free. As with my free iPod, I decided to use Google to get my referrals quickly. This time it cost about $60 to get 30 people to sign-up. Of those 30, six eventually accepted an offer (I only needed five). I then had to wait a couple months for Gratis to ship the PSP. Apparently, they had a problem keeping the thing in stock. Altogether, the entire process took about nine weeks. If you’re in a hurry, it might be better for you to just buy the thing. For me, waiting a while for a $190 discount was worth it (the PSP is currently selling for $250).
Despite all of the complaints over dead pixels, I somehow lucked out. My PSP’s LCD is perfect. Movies, photos, and games look gorgeous on its bright screen. I picked up copies of Wipeout Pure and Lumines. Both are fun, but I’m absolutely addicted to Lumines. It’s a puzzle/rhythm game with hypnotic lights, techno music and spacey sound effects. Kind of like a rave, but my thumbs are doing the dancing!
The next items I’m trying to get are a free mac mini, a free lcd monitor, and a free designer handbag for Kristie!
