GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT & CONVENTION CENTER, NASHVILLE, TN :: Nashville – Day 2: Our second day was spent exploring the enormous Gaylord Opryland Resort, relaxing at the spa, and enjoying a catfish dinner at a restaurant with its own indoor catfish pond! And while walking back to our room, we think we might have spotted Will Ferrell getting ready for a NASCAR race.
My favorite hotel ever. I stayed in that hotel for two teacher conventions over the years. I loved the rooms facing the garden atrium best because you can fall asleep to the sound of the water and the jazz music drifting in from Jack Daniel’s. I recommend doing a lunch cruise on the General Jackson, if you guys have time. So relaxing, plus great Southern food and beautiful views.
