CAHAL PECH ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESERVE, SAN IGNACIO & SANTA ELENA, BELIZE :: Today in The Cayo we rode horses through the jungle, swam in the pool, explored the Mayan ruin Cahal Pech, had dinner at Ko-Ox Han Nah (it's Mayan for "Let's Go Eat" and is San Ignacio's hottest restaurant), and stopped alongside the road to watch a field full of twinkling click beetles (the brightest bioluminescent insect in the world)!
