COLORADO SPRINGS, CO :: Our Colorado adventure continued with a falconry experience at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs! We got an up-close introduction to several incredible raptors, learned about the centuries-old art of falconry (The Sport of Kings), and watched these powerful birds demonstrate their speed, precision, and hunting instincts. A highlight was getting to wear the glove and have a raptor fly right to our hands. Pretty amazing to feel the weight and power of one of these birds from just inches away. Of course, Charlie was loving every minute of it!
