Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. :: From New York City, it’s a four hour drive and nearly $20 in toll fees to Washington, D.C. A co-worker and I were visiting the headquarters of a very well known relief organization, just a couple blocks from the White House. After the first day of our presentations, we enjoyed some drinks, dinner and conversation at Clyde’s in Chinatown, and then had enough time to stroll up and down the Mall for some photos. After the second day in D.C., I was on the road again for a six hour drive to Bluefield, WV, to spend a couple of days at a call center for a major satellite television company, and then a few more hours to Charlotte, NC for my flight back home. It was a fun trip, but much too long to be away from Kristie.
