HURRICANE RIDGE, OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, WA :: Winter fun on Hurricane Ridge, where the snow is plenty, but the people are limited to just 150 cars – perfect for enjoying some snowshoeing and sledding in relative solitude! A fierce storm moved in during the afternoon, causing whiteout conditions and earning the area its name. Luckily we picked Saturday to go up, because the road remained closed all Sunday.
