SLIDEWATERS, CHELAN, WA :: We decided to spend one of our last weekends of summer vacation in Chelan. First stop, Slidewaters! Kristie visited this water park as a kid, but says it’s grown significantly since. It was small compared to Wild Waves or Cultus Lake, but very clean and definitely a fun way to enjoy a warm summer day!

That looks like a lot of fun.. We tried to go tubing near Leavenworth last weekend but the river level was so low no services were offering shuttles and we didn’t bring any tubes to go ourselves.
Sorry the river was running too low – it seemed pretty low while we were out there the week before too. My tube was definitely scraping the rocks in a few areas. I’m heavier than most, though, so I wasn’t sure if that was normal or not.
