XCARET, QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO :: Our third day in Mexico was spent in Xcaret, an enormous amusement park showcasing the country’s natural and cultural beauty. We saw many different animals, explored some Mayan ruins, painted ceramics, filled ourselves at a delicious Mexican buffet, floated an hour through an underground lazy river, and enjoyed a two-hour dinner show celebrating the history and various regions of Mexico. And that was probably less than half of what the park offers! A must do if you’re in the area!
