Puffins
DYRHÓLAEY, ICELAND :: We drove up the big rock on the Dyrholaey Peninsula, hoping to see a few puffins. We were surprised and very pleased to see hundreds of them flapping about the cliffs! Our little birder was in heaven! The rest of us were so charmed by the cute puffins that we completely forgot to check out the other side of the cliff, which features a lighthouse and a view of a large natural arch in the sea. Oh well! Just another reason to return to Iceland someday!

Wow! Those shots are fantastic!!
Have you considered having Miranda follow Max Waugh’s photography? Kristie and I went to high school with him and he wins awards for wildlife photography. He often catches birds, but he’s more of a big cats and bison kind of guys. Amazing stuff. Max Waugh Photography
Maggie Shelton just followed him and will check it out!
Kristie English he also hosts excursions for photographers to amazing locations. Something for her to aspire to!
