HALEIWA, HI :: Haleiwa is the self-proclaimed surfer capital of the world. After witnessing the consistent 30’ waves along the nearby North Shore, I gotta believe it! There’s frankly not too much to do in this town, unless you are a surfer, but it was fun to walk among the old beach shacks and boardwalkand discover a few cool shops, restaurants, and art galleries.
