LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM :: We took advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday to vacation in Europe, with London as our first stop. We stayed near Piccadilly Circus and explored Borough Market, the Tower of London, where the ravens were a particular favorite, and some of the city’s best-known sights, including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. We also watched the Changing of the Guard.
At the British Museum, we spent time looking at the Rosetta Stone and the many other ancient artifacts. The holiday decorations and Christmas markets throughout the city made London feel especially festive during our visit.
