FREMONT, SEATTLE, WA :: Kristie and I had an incredible Christmas this year! We added several new ornaments to the tree and spent a lot of time with our families. We feel very fortunate to have so many wonderful people in our lives.
Many yummy treats were consumed, many laughs were shared, and many gifts were given and received. I must have been a very good boy this year, because Kristie got me a brand new camera with an amazing ultra-wide lens! I can’t wait to use it on my hikes!

Hi John, You took some nice shots of those ornaments on your tree. I’m going to attempt to take some pictures of my Christmas tree and some ornaments. Any tips of suggestions you can give to make them come out. Thanks, Michael

Thank you! The ornament photos were taken with the 50mm f/1.4 at f/1.4. The backgrounds were not blurred during post-processing.
