Copenhagen
COPENHAGEN, DENMARK :: I’ve always loved Copenhagen, so I was very happy to share it with Kristie. We explored the colorful waterfront at Nyhavn, climbed the winding ramp inside the Round Tower, wandered through Freetown Christiania, and stopped to see the Little Mermaid beside the harbor.
Our vacation rental was adjacent to the pedestrian and shopping avenue, Strøget, so it was super convenient to walk or bike to all of the attractions. We also browsed the Christmas markets and finished among the lights and decorations of Tivoli Gardens. Copenhagen has such a good mix of history, creativity and human-scale city life. It might just be my favorite!
