Qualifications: Educational Requirements and required experience and Skills • PhD, MS, or BS in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields with 0+ (PhD), 1+ (MS), or 2+ (BS) years of relevant experience in Protein Purification, Protein Biochemistry and Analytical Skill. • Experience using data analysis to solve problems. • Creative. Critical thinking. Strong troubleshooting skills. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Strong desire and willingness to learn • Highly self-motivated • Good organizational skills Software: MS office suite Nice to have/Preferred Experience and Skills • Experience with protein purification, especially experience with the ÄKTA system and membrane filtration • Experience with general protein biochemistry, HPLC, and LC-MS *Note* This is lab based onsite role at Kenilworth, NJ for 6 months with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities: The Biologics Process Research & Development organization (BPR&D) within our Research Laboratories is responsible for developing the drug substance manufacturing processes for our biotherapeutics pipelines. BPR&D works closely with Analytical Research & Development (AR&D), which provides state-of-the-art analytical support. Together, AR&D and BPR&D drive process development and implementation of new analytical and manufacturing technologies to efficiently manufacture materials to supply clinical trials. • As a contractor, you will collaborate with scientists across AR&D and BPR&D to advance the development of innovative control strategy. • You will be primarily responsible for monoclonal antibody purifications and quality assessments of the purified materials. • You will work side-by-side with analytical and bioprocess scientists and learn mass spectrometry, protein purification, and other relevant skills for biotherapeutics development. • This position is based in Kenilworth, NJ
