Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a contingent opportunity for a full Logistician in San Diego, CA.

Summary: The Logistician will provide logistical support to identify and procure parts, and maintain inventory for a government customer.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide logistical support to identify and procure parts for use by contractor personnel, material, specialized tools and equipment
• Document GFR usage and maintain inventory of tools, pre-expended bins for consumable items such as nuts, bolts, washers, electrical wire, rags, filters, lubricants, belts, hoses, fuses and bulbs.
• Utilized knowledge of the Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) to submit jobs in the Organizational Maintenance Management System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG).
• Complete Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR).
• Document and control shop tool inventory.
• Perform configuration management tasks of assigned heavy equipment and boats.
• Conduct bi-weekly parts inventories procedures.
• Travel requirement less than 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 6 years’ general logistics experience and at least 5 consecutive years of experience in the Navy Supply Logistics Field.
• Full knowledge of COMNAVSEASYSCOM Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILS) procedures, functions of the command’s Navy Tactical Command Support System II (NTCSS II), and Organizational Maintenance Managements System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG)
• Possess strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word. Proficient in Excel.
• Possess organizational skills.
• Possess effective oral and written communication.
• Have extensive knowledge of technical requirements.
• Ability to identify complex problems and solutions.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible.
• Ability to travel overseas when required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain US Passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military expeditionary equipment maintenance experience in a logistics role.

ADA Notations:

• Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to be able to work in maintenance shop environment
• Able to perform other duties as required which may involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions.
• Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.
• Job may require bending, stooping, lifting, and will be in an environment of low and high temperatures.
