Seeking Nursing Assistant!
Baptist Health Floyd, Progressive Care Unit
Part-Time (12 Hours/Week), Days (7am-7pm)
Job Duties:
The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
About the Unit:
The Progressive Care Unit, also known as PCU, is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care patients will have a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team this unit provides excellent care for a high acuity-based population.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/equivalent or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
