The office of Philip Gray, DDS is looking for a self motivated dental assistant for our growing Edmond office.
Requirements:

• You must share our dedication to uncompromised care and top-notch service for all of our great patients.
• We ideally are looking for someone with minimum 1-2 years of dental experience.
• We would love to add someone to our team who is looking for a long term commitment.

Some responsibilities may include: assisting the doctor chairside, exposing dental x-rays and caring for dental x-ray equipment, maintaining dental supply inventory, helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays and preparing materials as well as assisting our hygiene department when needed. Experience with CEREC is also a plus. We would like someone that is able to provide great patient care, well organized and reliable, has excellent communication and people skills, someone who demonstrates knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and equipment, great computer skills, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental software and computer proficient
• At least 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant

Schedule:

• Monday-Wednesday 7:30 AM to 5 PM (First patient is 8 AM)
• Thursday 6:30 AM to 3 PM (First patient is 7 AM)
• Average hours worked per week is around 35.

COVID-19 considerations:
All PPE is available. COVID precautions are in place including: air purifiers installed in operatories, aerosolization control via high volume evacuation.

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
