The Pathfinder
FREMONT, SEATTLE, WA :: Check out my new ride!
I had finally had enough of my old Intrepid. After it died on me again last weekend, I decided I needed to stop dumping money into it and get myself a nicer vehicle. I knew I wanted a mid-size SUV, and my research narrowed down my pick to three possibilities: Pathfinder, Explorer or 4Runner.
The Explorer is a little more roomier, and the Toyota depreciates slightly better, but I think the Nissan beats them in power, handling, quality, reliability, safety and styling. I ultimately chose a 2001 Pathfinder LE with only 26,000 miles.
It’s very nice, fully loaded, and worth the five hours we spent at the dealership to negotiate the deal. I look forward to taking care of it and driving it for a long time. Coincidently, the latte leather interior and racing green paint job matches Kristie’s Acura Integra perfectly!
