SEATTLE, WA :: Today the kids got to see some of their favorite authors, including Tui T. Sutherland (Wings of Fire), Dana Simpson (Phoebe and Her Unicorn), Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet), and Ben Clanton (Narwhal and Jelly). There were about 50 authors present in all, and the lines were crazy-long for most of them. We chose to stand in the longest ones, of course, to see Tui speak in a panel and then to get her autograph. She was very kind and funny, and Miranda was very happy to meet her. After waiting in line for nearly two hours, we didn't have the patience to meet any other authors. Fortunately, we met Cheryl and her family and caught up to pass the time!
