LEAVENWORTH SUMMER THEATER, LEAVENWORTH, WA :: The hills were actually alive with the sound of music Saturday evening! We enjoyed the Leavenworth Summer Theater's 25th annual production of The Sound of Music, featuring a talented cast of actors, singers and orchestra that would have made Julie Andrews and The Family Von Trapp proud. The play was mostly faithful to the movie, with a couple laugh-out-loud funny parts added in. We prepped the kids by watching the original a few nights before, and they completely enjoyed watching it all over again in the most appropriate and beautiful setting, high in the hills of Washington's own little Bavaria!
