UPPER WEST SIDE, NY :: We loved the more laid back vibe of the Upper West Side. The Arthouse Hotel was our base for five days in a recently updated penthouse with two rooms and two terraces! We enjoyed all of the corner markets, shops, brownstones, proximity to Central Park, and the variety of great restaurants. Memorable meals at RedFarm, Playa Betty, and Fred’s, along with bites at UWS staples like Zabar’s and Levain Bakery. We were continually impressed with how clean, friendly, bustling, and livable this part of the city seemed to be.
