The Vintage Rose Wedding & Event Venue is located in Nampa, Idaho. We are a family owned business and are looking to expand our team with an event set up/event supervisor. This position at the venue plays a significant role in offering great guest experience as well as maintaining rules and regulations throughout the entire event.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Ensure the correct number of tables/chairs are set out for the client. (Tables and chairs are convieniently stored near the ceremony and reception)
  • Ensure the rental items are ready for the client. (Guests may rent additional rental items and they are convieniently stored near the reception)
  • Supervising weddings. The employee in this position does not impose on wedding events, parties, or guests, but is available to answer questions or will impose when venue rules or safety is in question.
  • Ensure venue guidelines are being implemented during events i.e. no outside alcohol being consumed, watching for venue damage, trash being left behind, etc.
  • Tear down of tables and chairs at the end of events
  • Knowledge of our venues contracts in order to better assist clients
  • Communicating with vendors to ensure venue policies are being followed correctly
  • Be personable, happy to jump in to communicate with clients/vendors

Hours

  • Part time position
  • 6-8 hour shifts between 9am-11:30pm
  • Typically Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday depending on when weddings are booked, with minimal week day weddings.

Our wedding season begins in late April and ends in late October. We have approximately 35 weddings spread out between those months in the 2023 weddings season. Not every weekend is booked for weddings, and the weekends that are booked are typically 1-2 weddings per weekend. The set up of tables/chairs/rentals would take place on either Thursday or Friday, depending on when the first wedding of the weekend is. Set up shifts may take anywhere from 2-4 hours. Hours for the set up day are flexible for you to choose when to come in. We will begin interviews in late March. We keep a positive work environment and are excited to build to our team!
