Job description
New Jersey Institute for Disabilities has an opening for a Transportation Assistant to work with students with disabilities aged 3-21 years at our Lakeview School located in Edison New Jersey. Transport students for local field trips as scheduled. Complete safety checks of school bus prior to each field trip. Assist the transportation coordinator in the scheduling of buses for school trips with local transportation companies and assist as an aide to students on all field trips. Must have CDL with Passenger License and School Bus Driver/Passenger endorsement. Candidates with at least 2 years prior experience with transportation of students with multiple disabilities are encouraged to apply.Work Schedule:
M - F 8am - 3:30pm
