We are a Washington and Oregon based contractor with a focus on cellular site construction and maintenance. This is one of the most diverse trades around and one of the most challenging. Here’s a little of what being a Cellular Field Technician looks like:
- Learn all about the job while doing the work
- Be able to adapt to changes in processes
- Rig loads properly for hoisting up towers
- Climb towers safely using many kinds of approved safety and rigging gear
- Test installations for initial performance and troubleshooting purposes
- Communicate with customers and coworkers in a professional manner
- Drive company vehicle, often while towing a trailer
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Install cellular equipment (antennas, radios, coax, fiber optic cable, etc.) in all weather conditions
- Keep the job site and the vehicles used to perform the job organized and properly stocked with tools and materials
Requirements:
- Overnight travel Monday-Friday (Primarily Washington and Oregon State)
- Excellent communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be able to climb and perform work at various heights, between 150 to 200 feet, for long periods of time
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 to 100 lbs.; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and boxes
- Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather
