UPS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to create and implement staffing strategies focused on attracting premier technology and digital candidates using successful recruiting channels (e.g., internet, search firms, employee referrals, internships, etc...) to source candidates and use resources efficiently. This TA Manager implements initiatives and offers consultative expertise as a valued asset to technology and digital business unit managers. This position also works closely with business unit managers to facilitate program functionality and service levels. This position manages a supervisor and vendors.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides consultative support to hiring managers on company policies, staffing processes, compensation issues, and staffing selections
• Researches and leverages various industry and competitor trends
• Develops, tracks, and analyzes TA metrics to implement continuous strategy and process improvements
• Monitors TA metrics and supports team in meeting and exceeding deliverables; provides educational opportunities to develop and improve staff skills and performance
• Monitors large scale, complex staffing concerns and provides oversight on issues with potential legal risks and unfavorable trends
• Promotes attainment of strategic objectives
• Identifies and addresses areas for improvement in staffing, practices, and procedures and maintains the most successful, efficient, and cost-effective processes
• Develops a strong network to participate in recruiting activities and proactively develop a network of passive candidates
• Confers with internal and external partners to develop progressive and appealing recruiting materials
• Uses knowledge of regulatory standards to avoid adverse impacts, achieve diversity goals, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Applies budget analytics to projected resource needs to predict and manage cost

Knowledge and Skills

• Relevant experience in US and international technology and digital recruiting
• Good understanding of technology and associated technical skill sets (i.e., programming/software development, Information Security, Architecture, etc...)
• Experience using ATS (Workday)
• Demonstrated track record of recruiting success in technical disciplines (i.e., programming/software development, information security, architecture, etc...)
• Ability to design and communicate messaging and visuals for various audience levels
• Critical thinker with ability to solve complex business problems and provide solutions
• Understands labor and employment laws and the correlation and impact on recruiting and hiring
• Understands talent acquisition with the ability to adjust workforce plans to meet current and future business needs
• Applies technology knowledge to resolve impeding technical issues and recommends technological changes and advancements
• Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification - Preferred
• Society of Human Resources Manager Certification - Preferred
