Description:The MFC Lockheed Martin Facilities department is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position will provide support to the Director of Facilities and the management team.
The selected candidate will need to be a self-starter with strong initiative, proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short/firm deadlines that align to company deliverables. Also requires the ability to work courteously and tactfully with visitors, callers, and company personnel.
Other responsibilities include standard administrative duties (coordinate dynamic daily schedule, maintain calendar, prepare documents, file, etc. setup and support a variety of meetings). Must have solid skillset of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel software applications.
Proficiency in travel and expensing applications a must.
An excellent candidate will have proven ability to proactively plan and prioritize administrative requirements and will strive to anticipate needs in order to best manage the office.
Occasional support with customer relations and interfacing including customer visits and meetings, setup of meetings (including refreshment as necessary), and coordination of visit requests with Lockheed Martin Security. Manage conference rooms (including reservations, Skype, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Zoom, other IT as necessary).
Order/Maintain Office supply Inventory, organize shipping, mail and deliveries as well as general upkeep and maintenance coordination of work area.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Excellent written/verbal skills.
2. Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite along with travel and expense experience.
3. Proven system of follow-up and action closure.
4. Ability to maintain composure and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
5. Previous experience as an administrative assistant for executive level position.
6. Successful candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment.
7. Determines priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects or initiatives as needed, including providing support to the department staff.
8. Candidate must have willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibilities and have a strong desire for professional continued self-improvement, a professional demeanor and well-spoken
9. Experience with Concur travel scheduling system

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
