We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant in Pico Rivera, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity to join our accounting department.

Summary: Responsible for the full cycle financial closing of assigned branches.

Full-time, Monday - Friday, $87,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and post recurring as well as period journal entries.

· Balance sheets and bank reconciliation of assigned branches.

· Provides financial and analytical support to Branch management.

· Monitors compliance with accounting and reporting related procedures.

· Responsible for assuring the assets are properly recorded.

· Reviews information related to inventory, cost of goods, freight, and raw material valuations.

· Reviews Branch reports and productivity for enhancement and correctness.

· Takes care of all in house tax related matters other than those handled by the company’s external tax firm.

· Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; and two to four years’ related experience and/or equivalent experience.

· Strong Computer skills.

· Intermediate excel skills including but not limited to sumif, vlookup, pivot table.

· Understand US GAAP and their application into business operations.

· Experiences of working on month end sub-ledger and general ledger closing, processing journal entries, adjusting entries

· Solid understanding of debits/credits and financial statements.
