Job description
General Purpose:
To provide clerical support to the Risk Management department through timely correspondence, research, reporting and claims administration.
Responsibilities:
· Organize incoming mail forwarding or responding accordingly.
· Conduct detailed review of various contracts and agreements that the company is entering or renewing.
· Create, prepare and distribute various reports on key performance indicators.
· Research possible subrogation claims gathering the necessary documents to submit recovery claims to at-fault parties.
· Create accident, cargo, and workers’ compensation claims.
· Review estimates and photos related to claims.
· Communicate with claimants, vendors and other business parties regarding claims.
· Assist with medical compliance, physicals and drug screens.
· Promptly answer incoming calls and emails.
· Additional projects and duties to assist managers within the department.

· Can utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and display data in meaningful ways.
· Familiarity with pivot tables, charts, formulas and various other functionality within Excel.
· Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Word for correspondence.
· Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare presentation slides.
· Experience communicating with law enforcement, attorneys and courts a plus.
· Experience working on auto or liability claims and/or legal clerical work a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
