Responsibilities
The position requires the ability to develop & present a value proposition to drive large, transformational digital pursuits
Stitch together technical solutions in response to customer business problems, with support from product management and sales teams
Engage in customer-facing activities
Analyze growth opportunities
Analyze product development needs, and collaborate with the Product and Strategy teams to improve the value of our solutions
Coach on targeted product value propositions
Review proposal activities
Present technical sales briefings to customers
Develop and champion best-in-class sales training
Coordinate engineering support of pursuits
Provide data for sales collateral
Must haves
10 + years of experience in the Chemicals industry, in particular fixed plant operations / processes.
5 + years of experience in advanced software solutions (Advanced Process Control, Asset Management, Predictive Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, MES) for manufacturing.
At least 15 years of significant experience in strategic and consultative enterprise Business Development/Sales/Account Management (preferably based on credentials with consultancy firms)
Experience developing strategic value propositions, shape transformational deals and presenting complex solutions
Strong communication skills, with a high level of interpersonal skills, ability to present to audiences
Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and/or internationally
We value
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
Experience in the Chemical industry
Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment
Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
Experience/ familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Instrumentation), Master’s degree in Engineering/ MBA will be an added advantage
