Retail Sales Associate

Location: 721 19th Ave. Moline, IL

Pay: $14/hr. plus commission paid weekly

Eligible for a .50 increase at 90 days and another .50 increase at 6 months plus annual performance review and performance-based increases.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Enthusiastically providing excellent customer service by engaging customers promptly by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner, identifying their needs and circumstances to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Other essential functions include:
  • Purchasing merchandise from customers, setting up loans, and providing the best financial solution for their needs.
  • Ensuring asset protection through inventory control, proper safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans
  • Perform general cleaning duties and merchandise displays neatly
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team
  • Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience handling cash/credit transactions; retail or customer service experience helpful
• Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate and engage with the customer to assess their needs
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass a criminal background check
• Knowledge of commonly pawned merchandise
• Experience in retail industry/Pawn experience a plus
• Firearm/Form 4473 experience a plus
