Pay: $19.00+/hr DOE with opportunities for advancement

Essential Job Functions

· Responsible for safe and timely sampling and testing all foam formulations and rebond binder batches including measuring densities, ILD’s (firmness), and air flow for foam and viscosity for rebond binder batches.

· Responsible for communicating with fabrication departments on what foams to process and sample including those for R&D purposes at various dimensions.

· Maintain QC Data logs with all foam densities, ILD’s, and air flows and binder batch viscosities.

· Communicate with Chemical Engineering Manager on formulations out of spec and participate in formulation edits when necessary.

· Ensure foam is being labeled correctly after foam pours, correct foam is being cut in fabrication departments and be aware of existing current/future orders. formulations customers order and specific requirements from certain customers.

· Assist in preparation for other daily production needs and during pours.

· Participate in forklift training in order to perform any duties needing forklifts.

· Offload chemical tanker trucks (pending training evaluation).

Non-essential Job Functions

· Prepare Property for Rain.

· Support Other Departments as needed.

· Mechanical aptitude/troubleshooting highly desired.

· Bilingual/Spanish speaking highly desired.shift (First Shift) 5:00AM– 1:30PM or 6:00AM - 2:30 PM **(End times fluctuate based on production!)**
