Avenues Recovery Center of Bucks County is seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians!

This is a PRN client transport position. Candidate must be okay with nighttime driving.

Summary: In accordance with set schedule authorized by Maintenance Supervisor, drive car, van or truck to transport patients, employees and/or materials as directed. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infectious control and all regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Secure assignments from supervisor.

2. Keep supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems.

3. Transport patients, employees, mail, bank deposits, medical supplies, building materials, furniture, trash, fixtures and Hospital displays; assuring timely arrival of each.

4. Assist patients in and out of vehicle.

5. Load and unload vehicle as required, securing and padding articles as needed, using and/or with assistance of other if needed.

6. Maintain adequate levels of gas, oil, water and other vehicle fluids.

Knowledge and Job Skills:

• Knowledge of local area.
• Map reading.
• Driving skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Read, write and follow orders and instructions.
• Able to move up to 100 pounds.
• Secure materials in/on vehicle.
• Computer Skills are required.

Education:

High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED). Drivers' education or driving training a plus.

Experience:

Must have a valid driver's license. Experience in a position of similar responsibility a plus.
