Job description

The job of an installation helper is to work with lead installers and installation specialists to complete a wide range of HVAC and plumbing projects. While the expectation is not that he or she is an expert in their field, a desire to learn and improve their skills is extremely valuable in an installation helper. An installation is an entry level position, and an ideal candidate is a recent graduate from an HVAC or plumbing trade program

The job requirements of an installation helper include:

• Arrive on-time, appropriately dressed and ready to work
• Be able to work in a professional manner in a customer’s home, in their attic, or on their roof
• Assist lead installers and installation specialists in completing a variety of projects, including tasks such as grabbing parts or tools and cleaning up once a job is nearing completion
• As an installation helper becomes more experienced, he or she will be required to help with jobs directly related to the project such as running piping, connecting gas lines, etc.
• Keep an orderly and stocked work vehicle
• Use ServiceTitan to call homeowners, arrive and complete jobs, add notes to a job, and add payment to an invoice
• Complete payment from a variety of sources
• Learn the core values and mission and vision statements of BEST Air Conditioning Plumbing Repair and apply them to the projects they are assigned to work on
• Continual advancement through shop training, on-site training, and personal growth

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
