The Role: Assistant Controller
The Location: New York, NY (On-site)
The Employment Type: Exempt, Full-time
The Team: Finance and Accounting
The Impact: The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to generate financial reports for the leadership team. The individual should be able to track financial information in a well-organized manner and be able to handle all aspects related to finance at the organization. Additionally, the Assistant Controller should have experience analyzing balance sheets in order to forecast revenue and keep track of accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:
- Generate financial reports for senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Crosscheck payroll prior to processing
- Aid senior management in forecasting business revenue
- Support the Chief Financial Officer in all financial matters of the organization
- Monitor taxes and provide details for audits
- Work with external tax firms to ensure accurate and timely processing of both domestic and international tax situations
- Assist in annual financial reviews and bank related audits
- Assist and train direct reports
- Reconcile and provide strategic insight to Company’s asset backed loan
- Oversee and review intercompany accounting for Parent and related Companies
- Assist FP&A with accounting related matters and provide insight to assist with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting
What We’re Looking For and Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an Accounting/Finance role
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Highly proficiency in NetSuite
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
- Ability to meet and establish deadlines
- Big Four accounting experience preferred
- CPA designation preferred
- The role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Compensation/Benefits Information:
This role is eligible to receive CIRCA benefits:
- Compensation Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD
