PATIENT ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE - FULL TIME - DAYS
Job description
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contacts patients to establish payment arrangements according to departmental policySMonitors patient contract agreements to ensure that accounts are not delinquent.
Monitors accounts for transfer to bad debt agencies according to departmental policy.
Monitors estate claims, bankruptcy and legal claims according to departmental policy.
Screens accounts for charity applications and send appropriate information/documentation to patients. Maintains Charity Logs according to departmental policy.
Answers incoming telephone calls and responds to patient inquiries.
Documents all communication with patients and payers within the Information system.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING: High School diploma or equivalent. Some type of secondary education preferred.
