Job Title: Med/Surg PCU Registered Nurse in Johnson City,Tennessee
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Travel Med/Surg PCU RN to join our team in Johnson City, TN. This is a 13-week contract for a registered nurse with Med/Surg and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to provide high-quality care to patients.
Requirements:
Active RN license in TN
BLS certification
2 years of Med/Surg and PCU experience
Strong clinical skills and ability to interpret EKGs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg and PCU setting
Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and EKGs
Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Participate in nursing student support and clinical education
