Maintenance Technician Site Supervisor

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician Site Supervisor for 270+ unit multifamily community. Ideal candidate for this position must have the ability and work ethic to perform in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team. The general responsibilities are to assist in and oversee the maintenance team to complete apartment turnovers, handle service requests and maintain community grounds.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician Site Supervisor include:

· Oversee, participate in and direct maintenance staff in areas of apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and service requests

· Conduct both move in and move out inspections

· Diagnose and repair problems in areas such as electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency lighting, flooring, and hardware accessories

· Assist the property manager with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks

· Ensure apartment turnovers are completed by necessary move in date and/or within company time frame guidelines

· Assist the property manager in invoice approval processing

· Directly handle supply ordering and maintaining inventory

· Work with necessary subcontractors on an as-needed basis

· Participate in and oversee on-call rotation to ensure 24-hour emergency maintenance response with a focus on customer service satisfaction

Qualifications of the ideal Maintenance Technician Site Supervisor:

· 3+ years of management experience

· 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience

· Ability to complete tasks by deadlines

· Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities

· Must be available for on-call rotation including nights/weekends/holidays

· Excellent communication skills

· Must have own basic tools

· Must be able to pass background check

· Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
