RHD is hiring for Life Skills Professionals! Our new Bucks County site in Fairless HIlls.

Offering a $2000 sign-on bonus for Full Time, Pro-rated for Part Time!!! (Eligible upon successful completion of 90-day probation period.)

RHD Bucks County is seeking full-time, part-time and on-call Life Skills Professionals (LSP) for weekend, evening and overnight shifts to staff our new program in the Oxford Valley area opening soon! Life Skills Professionals support the program by facilitating improved life skills, providing support to achieve recovery goals and promoting a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Maintain the safety of environment through safety checks, building rounds, and engagement with all residents
  • Provide encouragement, and ongoing support.
  • Facilitate accountability, schedule understanding and participation encouragement to support resident engagement
  • Oversight/demonstration to support residents maintaining the physical plant, household chores, meal preparation, reporting needed repairs.
  • Completion of documentation including medication self-administration, incident reports, shift reports or notes, safety checks and other reporting.
  • Participate as a member of the treatment team through active participation in team discussions and email communications to share observations.
  • Intervene in crisis and document all critical incidents.
  • Enter daily census and other demographic, intake, and other data into the electronic health record,
  • Attend and/or facilitate educational groups and meetings (Life Skills, Daily living skills, Community Meetings) as assigned.

Required Experience

Experience in drug and alcohol treatment or other social service setting is preferred.

Required Education

High school diploma or GED

Required Qualifications

Valid driver's license

Basic computer and typing skills, willingness to be trained in use of electronic health record.

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Program Summary

The Halfway House is a community based 24-hour residential treatment facility that provides access to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services while offering individualized, trauma informed, person centered clinical services in a supportive, safe environment.
