JOB DESCRIPTION
An intelligent, clever coordinator who is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of all MDS assessments per state requirements. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and coordinate Medicaid programs. They will work closely with clinical and administrative staff regarding Medicare admissions for residents. This is a great opportunity for an experienced MDS Nurse looking to grow with a strong organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate should be RN/LPN.
- Possess a valid nursing license.
- Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- MDS experience.
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Knowledge of MDS requirements required.
- Experience in long term care.
- Good working knowledge of Medicaid.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
- experience in skilled nursing and/or rehabilitation.
- experience in MDS Software preferred.
