Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven team members who are quick learners and creative problem solvers. If you enjoy solving challenging problems and creating solutions from our customers’ perspective, we want to meet you. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing methods to improve data reliability and quality within the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with departments across the company to build, move, transform and display data for stakeholders to have the visibility required to manage and grow the business.

A great fit for our team will have the following skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience (5+ years)
• 5+ years SQL
• 5+ years Python
• 5+ years PostgreSQL
• 3-5 years Redshift
• 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server
• BI Tool experience (Domo, Tableau and Power BI preferred)
• dbt experience preferred

Preferred qualifications include:

• Ability to collaborate across departments
• Advanced data architecture experience
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with business requirements, technical analysis, and technical design
• Prior work experience in the home security and automation industry would be helpful but not necessary.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
