Beach Pea is well-known for our artisanal breads, signature salads and sandwiches, and fine pastries. We use all natural ingredients to prepare and offer delicious and wholesome food, breakfast and lunch – and all-day breads & sweets! - seven days a week. We are looking for a few individuals who are passionate and excited about producing our products, as well as our greater mission to our community.

We will train the right candidates to follow our successful practices.

Your Job

· Set up and stock stations with all sandwich and salad ingredients

· Prepare food for service (clean and chop veggies, prepare dressings, roast meats, etc.)

· Follow recipe and preparation guidelines

· Assemble signature and custom craft sandwiches and salads per order and for our “grab & go” case

· Clean stations and store leftovers appropriately

· Follow all safety and health code compliance protocols

· Restock items as necessary throughout shift

· Display enthusiasm about our products and serving our customers

· Manage time and prioritize tasks with supervision

· Perform other tasks as directed by management

· At least one weekend shift required

Your Skills (We’ll help you!)

· 1 year food service or restaurant experience

· Basic food knowledge and knife skills

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Team player with an eye to constant improvement

· Accuracy and speed in completing tasks

· ServSafe certification (we'll get you there)
