Job Overview:

The Advisor & Institution Technology Consulting team is focused on providing guidance, support and solutions for technology tools that are leveraged by advisors, program managers, members, their staff and their investors.

This important hire will focus on helping Advisors with the implementation and utilization of tools that are essential to the success of their relationships with their clients.

Candidates for this role must have a passion for, and interest in, the technology used by firms to support their practices (i.e. CRM, Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, Analytics, etc.). The role will work with many stakeholders, and requires a candidate to be able to think strategically and tactically to anticipate the tech needs of clients. Collaboration with external partners, as well as internal business, operations and technology groups, will be critical to ensure the needs of our advisors are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Point person for technology software implementation (CRM, Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, Analytics, Office Efficiency Tools, etc.) for a subset of our Advisor base. Efforts include:
  • Being a conduit between various stakeholders to provide an excellent implementation experience
  • External partner management of onboarding action items, building tight partnerships along the way
  • Internal coordination to make sure that implementation efforts are being executed on
  • Strong communication and expectation setting of deliverables and status to onboarding firms
  • Tightly coordinating with overall Transition Specialists regarding timing of efforts
  • Educating advisors on both the implementation process, as well as general training on various home grown and third party advisor technology tools
  • Ability to demonstrate LPL-based technology capabilities
  • Construct project plans regarding implementation efforts
  • Ongoing day-to-day support of, and guidance for, advisors and teams in regards to general servicing of ‘business as usual’ technology needs and questions
  • Conduct conversations that focus on helping to build efficiencies for Advisors via technology
  • Contribute to broader team initiatives (ideas and execution) as needed

Requirements:

  • 3 plus years client facing experience; consulting and/or training experience a strong plus
  • Experience with LPL Systems, Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox, MoneyGuide, Morningstar, eMoney, RightCapital, Riskalyze, Albridge, Black Diamond and/or Orion preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including public speaking
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate issues, and provide solutions, or in many cases, responses without defined solutions
  • Project management / multi-tasking skills across different projects
  • Financial services, Advisor Practice, Broker/Dealer, Financial Custodian and/or FinTech/SaaS Technologies experience a plus
  • Understanding of API/Data Sharing between firms a plus


Pay Range:

$74,720-$112,080/year

The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
