Your responsibilities

Position Summary

This position is responsible for HR master data maintenance in various HR systems including SAP HCM, and SuccessFactors Onboarding for all tkmNA companies across the US and Canada. The position provides cross-functional support to HR Business Partners, Benefits, Finance, and Information Technology in projects related to process improvement, compliance, and audit requirements.

Post-Workday Implementation: This position is responsible for the ongoing data administration and support of Workday modules including: Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management, and other modules as necessary. This position will manage and monitor Workday business processes, resolve issues related to workflow, and support release testing for both functionality and end user roll-out.

Key Accountabilities

Data Integrity & Analytics

  • Responsible for maintaining data accuracy in Core HCM system (pre and post-implementation)
  • Conduct regular data audits and partner with HR Business Partners to ensure data accuracy and drive process completion.

Customer Support

  • Manage HR service requests that have been escalated from the Level 1 Employee Care customer support team, and ensure accurate completion within established SLAs.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify areas for process improvement to drive solutions.
  • Provide support to HR users, employees, and managers with HR master data transactions in various Workday modules (and other HR systems in the pre-implementation environment).
  • Manage escalations of urgent issues while maintaining integrity of SLAs to determine when exceptions can and should be made.
  • Develop work instructions and deliver training to field HR to support business process compliance.

Project Delivery / Ongoing Implementation

  • Document Data Team procedures and develop process workflows to promote structure and ensure legal compliance (i.e. wage & hour laws, data protection laws, etc.)
  • Support ongoing Workday implementation, optimization, and adoption. Assist in identifying system requirements and testing new solutions.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the business processes and research system functionality/trends (leverage resources such as Workday Community).
  • Support deployment of new features and functions in Workday modules and data migration from legacy HR technology systems.
  • Support documentation of requirements, configuration, test scripts, user acceptance criteria, and functional delivery.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide support for Workday business processes, including researching and resolving functional Workday problems, unexpected results, or process issues (leverage resources such as Workday Community).
  • Provides Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, data upload (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support – specifically for Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Absence Mgmt.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the system through regular review and audits.
  • Maintain training and communication material, and support delivery of training to HR end users.
  • Support development and implementation of proactive change efforts for HR business process improvements, including enhancements to end user experience.
  • Supports HR users with completing business process workflows as needed.
  • Participate in special projects, as needed.

Your profile

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and quality of work.
  • Ability to manage data for complex organization with variances in pay rules, state requirements, and union rules.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced HR Operations environment.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience with using logic and proven methodologies to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Discipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly with MS Excel.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 0-2 years’ of experience working within a corporate/centralized HRIS department and has a good understanding of HR practices, reporting and analytics needs
  • Prior responsibility for managing employee data in HRIS and/or Time & Attendance systems (Workday preferred)
