Essential Functions:
HRIS/ADP systems administrator. Actively troubleshoots issues and suggests new efficiencies to ensure these technologies are utilized most effectively.
Administer Employee Benefits Programs, including health, dental, life, long-term disability, supplemental insurances, 401(k), COBRA, and Unemployment for all benefit-eligible employees by ensuring that all benefit databases are accurate and up to date.
Administrator for Family Medical Leave and MA Paid Family Leave.
Assists in evaluating and designing benefit programs for cost-effectiveness and staff needs.
Conducts HR portion of New Hire Orientation; this includes presenting Employee Guidebook, Benefits, Emergency preparedness, building tour, and employee badges.
Assists in compliance with DPH and JCAHO standards by ensuring the appropriate documentation is maintained in the employee’s personnel records and health files.
Manages the Performance Evaluation process for all employees of the Agency to ensure evaluations are conducted promptly.
Compiles the necessary data for the annual EEOC and OSHA reports and the HCA Salary survey.
Responds to employee inquiries and assists with other employee-related matters.
Represent the HR Dept. on various committees and associations within the agency and the community, as requested.
Non-Essential Functions:
Perform and participate in special agency-related projects, programs, and fundraisers, as requested.
Assures Agency compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and adheres to the Norwell Visiting Nurse Association, Inc. Corporate Compliance policy in preventing fraud and abuse on behalf of the Agency.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills (HRIS, Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and interpretive skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Human Resource functions (i.e., benefits administration)
- Knowledge of the healthcare business environment
Education:
- BS in Human Resource Management or Business or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 2 + years of progressively responsible experience in the Human Resources field, specifically in benefits administration required.
- 1 + years of Human Resource experience in a health setting preferred.
