Job Title: Housekeeping Housemen

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Compensation: $15.00 hour

Job Summary

Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire resort with an attention to detail. Housekeeping Housemen work diligently to prepare all guest rooms for cleaning on a daily basis, while ensuring timelines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

§ Provide excellent and consistent cleaning service to all guests during the shift, while being an independent worker

§ Promptly assist Housekeepers in preparing guest rooms for cleaning by removing used linen, towels, and trash and delivering clean product needed to complete the room

§ Maintain good time management by completing tasks with a sense of urgency at all times

§ Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms, as well as company and guest property

§ Consistently ensure all linen and supply closets are stocked, organized, and clean

§ Keep public spaces and hallways clean and clear of trash and linen

§ Actively follow safety and security procedures

§ Recognize and dispatch any maintenance items or safety hazards to the appropriate team member

§ Assist guests with questions and requests when approached by being aware of events and activities available at the resort

Requirements

§ Exceptional attention to detail

§ Professional and courteous verbal communication skills

§ Ability to accurately and efficiently report information

§ Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance and work environment at all times

§ Physical stamina and mobility, including ability to lift, reach, kneel, and/or bend for up to eight hours a day

§ Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

§ 1+ years of cleaning experience. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
