POSITION: Heavy Equipment Operator.
LOCATION: Sarasota, FL.
PAY RATE: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
WORK HOURS: 40+ hours.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operates Front Loader and Forklift to load/unload material on conveyors.
- Operates wheel loader to push and load materials on conveyors.
- Performs pre-operation checks of equipment.
- Performs routine service and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Assists mechanics on minor repair work on equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of Front Loader Experience-Mid-Large Size Loaders.
- 3+ years of Forklift Experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA Regulations and General Safety Practices.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety operating light or medium equipment.
- Knowledge of the operating and repair characteristics of light or medium equipment.
- Ability to service types of light or medium equipment and to make minor repairs.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Availability to work overtime when needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and hand eye coordination-Hearing and Visual ability.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and twist at the waist.
- Ability to work in an airborne dust and dirt particles, with various climatic temperatures.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance.
- Possess fast reflexes and unimpaired coordination.
- Ability to perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment.
- Not mentally or physically impaired from any cause that can adversely affect the ability to safely and competently perform the job duties and functions.
