The Challenge
Adobe Public Sector has tremendous, unlocked potential. We must address internal and external obstacles and opportunities to accelerate business growth. As a member of the One Adobe ecosystem, The Head of Strategic Initiatives will provide focused leadership willing to challenge the status quo and think different to drive business success for our DMe and DX business.
The Head of Strategic Initiatives will:
Report to the General Manager and VP of Public Sector, and be a key member of the Adobe Public Sector leadership team;
D rive Public Sector success by applying innovative solutions to strategic internal and external obstacles and opportunities. Examples of obstacles and opportunities may include organizational challenges, go to market barriers, technology fit, strategic growth endeavors and key opportunity orchestration.
Work collaboratively with Public Sector leadership to identify obstacles and opportunities that affect growth and implement strategic initiatives to address with support of a cross functional team.
Lead execution against recommendations quickly and with accuracy for strategic initiatives and special projects supported by data, action steps and empathy to gain commitment.
Drive focus and prioritize , proactively identifying future stra te gic issues with covering urgent needs in the current state .
Develop tools to drive efficiency around strategic initiatives by memorializing, operationalizing, and measuring outcom es ; develop trusting relationships through accountability, consistent, and timely deliverables .
Report to Public Sector leadership on the efforts and performance of strategic initiatives.
Work with account teams on strategic pursuits to leverage the best of One Adobe (technology and internal and external ecosystem) to drive business success through efficiency, scale, acceleration, and precision.

Must have experience working with federal, state, local and tribal government agencies, and departments
Must be proficient in Adobe’s art of the possible with respect to technology and go to markets
Must be willing to start initiatives from scratch, bringing structure and focus to efforts
Must be analytical, measuring performance and outcomes to drive efficiency
Must be entrepreneurial, able to spot opportunities, make business cases, understand partner solutions, drive virtual teams, and engage with senior customer and Adobe stakeholders
Must be able to work across an organization to drive consensus of stakeholders.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $167,900 -- $300,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
