About the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance:
The National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance (NTSA) is a network of service providers committed to enhancing services and increasing access to care for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. NTSA is working to achieve this mission through three initiatives:
- Membership - Equipping residential programs across the U.S. with the training resources to learn and grow in a collaborative community.
- Alliance Referral System (ARS) - We connect survivors throughout the country with appropriate residential shelters efficiently and with dignity.
- Accreditation - Survivor residential services is a young and emerging field comprising housing programs that have been open for an average of 9 years. While many provide high-quality services to survivors, a national and independent resource for establishing accountability and minimum standards of care does not exist. NTSA has developed an Accreditation model specific to housing programs serving trafficking survivors to ensure that survivors receive the highest quality of care from healthy, trauma-informed organizations.
