Located in the heart of Atlanta’s Upper Westside, Chattahoochee Food Works is the 31-vendor, 25,000-square-foot food hall featured at the center of The Works. Highlighting the best of Atlanta’s exciting food scene, the food hall will feature restaurant stalls, creative chef concepts, and the region’s top culinary talent. The space also includes a large communal indoor/outdoor bar and expansive outdoor seating. Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern and partner Robert Montwaid, creator of New York’s Gansevoort Market, are the curators behind Chattahoochee Food Works.

Chattahoochee Food Works is looking for an events coordinator!
Responsibilities:
- Understand the requirements for each event
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Book venues and schedule speakers
- Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
- Hire personnel
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.)
- Do final checks on the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as an event coordinator
- A proven track record of organizing successful events
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent management skills
- Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Able to handle stress and remain calm
- Problem-solving ability
- A degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred
