Educational Diagnostician

Blazerworks, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Educational Diagnostician to join our team in LaPorte, IN. As an Educational Diagnostician, you will play a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing students' educational needs, providing valuable insights and support to help them succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning strengths, weaknesses, and individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Utilize various assessment tools, techniques, and strategies to gather data and evaluate students' academic performance.
- Analyze assessment results and provide detailed reports outlining students' strengths, weaknesses, and recommended interventions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, interventions, and accommodations to support students' educational progress.
- Stay updated on current educational research and best practices in assessment and intervention techniques.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop appropriate educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
- Experience in conducting educational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and educational professionals.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
